I'm cautiously optimistic because you said Uncharted and the Assassins Creed people are hopefully kept far away from this, but at the end of the day it's still Ubisoft. Hopefully it doesn't suffer too much from whatever cancer or virus has infected Star Wars storytelling as of late.

Considering Maz Koshia is the final boss of the BotW DLC, it’s he REALLY optional? I mean, how many people buy DLC never intending to actually play it? Besides, technically Thunderblight Ganon is optional, and he’s still one of the hardest bosses from both BotW & TotK. Not at all surprised Nameless King made the list, but honestly the hardest part about his Phase 1 is the camera! Pro tip: DON’T lock on! When he does his dive attack, it just screws with your camera and by the time you get reoriented, he’s likely already hit you again. After I learned this tip, I finally beat Phase 1 maybe half a dozen tries later.

I was kinda thinking you could steal vehicles, but I think I might be wrong. Like you would see some scout troopers, take them out and steal a 74-z. You know, like an open world game.

This just in ubisoft makes average open world game. Perhaps it will be above average

Another potential addition to this list would be the Helm of Honnleath in Dragon Age Origins. It looks kind of derpy with the wings but it has amazing stat boosts. I always had Alistair wear it, I had to protect my precious boy after all.

like with AC:Shadows, i'd be more excited if someone else was making it, especially hearing "from the studio that made The Division." I remember beta testing that game, and it only got worse on release. Half-baked ideas and RPG bullet sponges that let down generally solid cover-shooting gameplay... hopefully they learned their lessons. I had the showcase playing on the other monitor, and when they started playing music for the reveal, I genuinely didn't realize it was supposed to sound like Star Wars. The space combat looks Starfield Lite. And for one last cheap shot, the ship looks boring. And I still have a chip on my shoulder about 1313. This just looks like a more Ubisoft, less interesting 1313 with a Starfield-adjacent ship.

If you kill the inquisitor before entering the chamber at the crèche, you can skip going into the prism without any repercussions. Basically a hawk tuah at the Queen.

First open world SW game? Wasn't Old Republic open world. Open universe really. You can even buy your own house and buy furniture to add to it and design it. Am I missing something or is this game definitely not the first open world Star Wars game? :)

Must be hard to talk up a game about an evil empire that controls and abuses it's citizens as kinda the good guys and also a Star Wars game. Let's face it, in The Division you were playing as Storm Troopers who had just received Order 66 sent out to silence the disenfranchised. Supposedly you were the _good_ guys in that game. Also, absolutely typical Ubisoft to claim "First ever open world Star Wars game" when they can't even accurately claim 'First Ever' status for their own games... claiming First Ever status for Assassin's Creed games for various achievements repeatedly. Also, Knight's of the Old Republic would like a word, if you have a moment. I know the wiki's have been edited to remove the words 'open world' but this isn't a Berenstain Bears kind of situation.

Damn, I had hoped Massive would be deep into Division 3 production.

It's another boring connect the dots ghost train ride. It has a Star Wars label on it, so it's different somehow. Game design by committee sucks. Especially when it's written by a room full of terribly unimaginative privilege sheltered white guys telling a story about a poor woman hustling to make a living in space.

I can see so many pieces from the latest Ghost Recon and Far Cry. Neither is perfect, but I very much enjoy them both. And as a lifelong Star Wars fan, I cannot deny that's a huge plus. Good SW content has been in short supply lately.

This would be a good game if an in-game resource was like Radio Free Coruscant, reviewing and outlining all the kinds of ships and tools to best suit your needs and aspirations.

For me, the fact that these people made Division is more of a warning than a reassurance. But I am interested to see what they did with this one. The less it is like the Division is the better
